On Thursday, 13th November, the Year 5 children embarked on an exciting local Geography walk. They explored various physical and human geographical features, including the Charville Library, the Community Centre and the numerous local businesses on Kingshill Avenue. They even ventured to Abbeyfields green space! The children had a fantastic time and really enjoyed deepening their knowledge of mapping techniques, symbols and photography. Their enthusiasm was infectious, and it was wonderful to see them engaged with their local environment. Overall, it was an enriching experience that helped enhance their understanding of geography right on their doorstep!
