Year 3 were joined by a time travelling Viking Jarl to teach them all about the Anglo-Saxons and Vikings.

The children were able to hear all about the history of the era and get hands-on experience with artefacts, armour and weapons. They also had the opportunity to write their names in Anglo or Viking runes using a quill and ink and then had the opportunity to use shields and javelins in games.

It was lovely to see the children sharing their knowledge, learning new facts and having hands-on Viking experiences!
