On Friday the 9th February we celebrated Chinese New Year at Charville. Throughout the week leading up to this day, children learnt about Chinese New Year, significant people from China and create amazing dragon crafts. As a school, we are lucky enough to have a weekly Mandarin teacher for our KS2 pupils. Across this week though, all pupils from Nursery to Year 6 will get to have a short Mandarin lesson from Song Laoshi, where they will learn a few key phrases.
