Tutankhamun in London

Our Year 6 children had an opportunity to visit the British Museum's Egyptian Collection and the "Tutankhamun: Treasures of the Golden Pharoah" exhibition at the Saatchi Gallery in London

The visits were to support their learning round the Ancient Egyptians. The children saw artefacts found in Tutankhamun’s chamber over 3,300 years ago which will  be returning to Egypt where they will remain on display permanently. These objects will never been seen outside Egypt ever again , so this was a golden opportunity for our children. The children were extremely well behaved within the galleries. A huge thanks to all of the adults who accompanied the children.
