Headteacher's Welcome

On behalf of all our pupils, staff and Governors, I would like to welcome you and your family to Charville Academy. We are proud of our children and large team of staff who are all highly committed to the education, safeguarding and welfare of all the children.

At Charville we provide a broad, challenging and innovative curriculum which provides all children with the opportunity to develop academically, spiritually and socially. We work hard to make Charville an inviting school and provide an exciting learning environment. All pupils, parents and staff are encouraged to take an active role in school life and follow our Values-based approach to education.

Charville is a good school and Ofsted (2023) praised our high expectations of pupils' achievements and well-organised curriculum.

At Charville we provide a wide range of opportunities for the children to take part in exciting trips, visits and cultural experiences. Furthermore, we actively promote wellbeing through the arts and physical activities.

Ofsted 2023 stated:
Pupils enjoy coming to school because they make friends and their teachers help them to learn and remember interesting facts and key knowledge. Pupils are proud to receive certificates for demonstrating the school's values, such as being respectful, caring and determined.

Overtime pupils develop skills successfully in communication, including listening well and debating different points of view maturely. They are well-prepared for next stages in their education.

Here are our 2022/23 results for Key Stage 2.

If you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact us and arrange a visit.

I look forward to meeting you!
