Headteacher's Welcome

On behalf of all our pupils, staff and Governors I would like to welcome you and your family to Charville Academy. We are proud of our children and large team of staff who are all highly committed to the education and welfare of all the children.

At Charville we provide a broad, challenging and rich curriculum which provides all children with the opportunity to develop academically, spiritually and socially. We work hard to make Charville an inviting school and provide an exciting learning environment. All pupils, parents and staff are encouraged to take an active role in school life and follow our Values Based approach to education.

Charville is a good school on the journey to outstanding and Ofsted (2017) praised our ambition and high expectations. Our priority is to ensure that all children achieve the highest standards possible in all areas of the curriculum and to closely track the progress of all children. Our values based approach equips all children with core values that support both their learning and behaviour.

At Charville we provide a wide range of opportunities for the children to take part in exciting trips, visits and cultural experiences and actively promote the arts through our curriculum.

Ofsted 2017 commented said:
“Pupils learning is enriched in a variety of ways and highlights include opportunities to work with artists and visit museums”.

I hope that our prospectus provides you with a wide range of information about our school, its’ organisation and aims. If you require any further information please do not hesitate to contact us and arrange a visit.

I look forward to meeting you!
