Al Sylvester MBE, visited the Year 2 children to tell them about his Antarctic expeditions. The children had an amazing day, discovering how the weather impacted on Al and the equipment and clothes he needed whilst he was there. The children also had the opportunity to ask questions about what he saw and his achievements. It was a thoroughly enjoyable and fact-filled experience for the children to further their own learning about the Antarctica.
